Terrain Quality is still "broken".
It's been Months and they've released several Patches for the Game itself, yet none of them fixes the Terrain Quality Graphics Setting. Changing it doesn't do anything at all such as adding Tesselation to the Surfaces/Geometric Detail etc.

Even Nvidia's Graphics Guide says it

"Terrain Quality

Terrain Quality is intended to increase the geometric detail of terrain surfaces through the application of tessellation, but in our supposedly-final build the setting has zero impact in every one of the thirty-something locations tested.

Once it is working we'll revisit this topic, as terrain tessellation is likely to have a noticeable impact on detail levels throughout the game." What's up with that i wonder?

Maybe it's a setting that does something but it's not imediately noticeable.

Nvidia also did a Tweak Guide for Witcher 2 where they said "Number of lightning sources does nothing", yet in the actual game, at various points there were more light sources at any give time if the option was left on max settings.

Personally, I see quite the difference in LOD scaling in terrain. Everything (ground level) just pumps up a bit (either tessellation or parralax occlusion) when Geralt is within 5-10 meters of stuff.
