Quite the contrary. ^^
Ive owned several GPUs over the last couple years and I tend to play TW3 on every Christmas since 2015 (R9 290X, 1080TI, 2080, 6800XT, 6900XT, 3090TI and now 7900XTX), and it crashes and crashed regardless of my GPU.
TW3 seems to crash on occasion, much less without mods though. Like they say in Silicion Valley, its a feature, not a bug. ;)
I had playtroughs without a single crash and also some playtroughs with a crash every 4-5 hours.
Ive seen worse.
edit: A negligible sacrifice in order being able to play the greatest masterpiece in gaming history, isnt it. :)
what fps are you doing in 1440 resolution , max settings , no RT , DLSS quality in dx 12?
I just found out that changing foliage in user settings to double value takes 30 fps. (from 2.5 to 5, and changing number of shadows from 4 to 5)
I am trying to figure out what is normal fps range on dx 12 on max settings in that resolution. without RT
it does 90 fps at most on 3080 for me so how you got 144? dont tell me you 4k as well
I run everything ultra+ ray tracing is off, capped at 60 Dx12
