Should i buy witcher 3

Im afraid it'll get free on epic games since it's kinda old. That's pretty much the only thing stopping me from buying the game.

I say, buy it.

On EGS, the main way for these handouts to be profitable is by only giving you access to the base game so that you end up investing in expansions/bonus content that is otherwise available in GOTY/Complete editions anyway.

You might be cool with just getting the base game in general, but Witcher 3's two expansions are amazing additions to the game. You can even take some of the additions from both expansions, into the main game (spell improvements, armor and more customization for example) AND they are better stories than the base game's narrative, especially Hearts of Stone, but Blood & Wine also has an insanely beautiful map.

The meat of this type of game is the roleplaying experience and the last act of the main game is really dull/hollywood schlock. Both of the expansions circumvent this by just putting out an amazing story with more personal stakes at hand while also providing you with a huge amount of extra missions to roleplay through.

Do u really think the DLC's are worth it? This will probably be my serious story game and I didn't wanna go "all out". How many hours u think I can put into just the base game? ( platinum and every side quest)

If you value interesting characters, storytelling and writing then you will not regret spending money on this game.

With all the dlc content it's still the best and most impressive game ever made.

If you don't want to commit to the RP and the story, then you've got the wrong game regardless of whether you get DLC or not.

Maybe it will become free on epic, i don't know but it doesn't matter because it's worth full price.

The DLC's are maybe the best ever made for a singleplayer game.

I'll pitch in and say go for it as well. £8.74 for the Complete Edition is a steal.

Not only is the base game one in my top 3 games of all time, but the Blood and Wine DLC is my favourite DLC for any game ever.

This game might be 'old,' but it's still lauded as one of the best of it's genre (and just in general) for a reason. It's a little slow to start as the story is on rails for the first little bit to set up the story, but it really shines once you get into the open world.

The remastered edition that came out last year works now perfect, even with all the RT settings and and FG on, the game is ultra smooth, I enjoy it now so much. When it launched last year it was a unoptimized mess. This edition is easily worth 30 bucks and now you can get it for like 10 bucks, I really don't even know what you are waiting on.

I think the developer of this game has big ambitions ;p and they have their own store its called gog.com or something ;p and they have thier own freebies and they are competing with epic. also they just made an Enchanced edition patch for the game with new graphics and ♥♥♥♥ so I doubt this game is going to be free anytime soon ;p

O yeah DLC's are good I think they are better than the main game ;p The main game is fun if you'r a fan but other than that its a bore imo ;p

And the playtime is obnoxiously long its like RDR2 its just sooo long omg, I wish it was shorter ;p

Also I think witcher 2 is much better game its short and its like 2 euro no ? You might want to try that first ;p

Absolutely yes! I play first time in WIthcer franchise and never be fanatic. But now for me this is the best RPG of 2010-2020 years 100% And it is very cheap now on sale.

If they were ever going to give it away for free it would be on GOG not Epic because GOG is owned by CDPR but I don't see that happening until we get a release date for Witcher 4 then they might give it away like they did the first Witcher game

You can get the full edition for $12.49 and you'll definitely get your money's worth plus there are a ton of great mods and likely the best modding community out there adding even more value to the game.

Should I download all those free DLC's Witcher 3 has? Do they give me any type of advantage, or do they just change the looks of some things?
