Can't get transit pass from the red baron after talking to temera.

So basically, i was doing the family matters quest. I reached the bridge to oxenfort, where i was denied entry to the city. I did what any reasonable person would do, i turned around, walked back across the bridge, then i jumped in the water and swam to oxenfort.

Now, if i had talked to the baron and told him about my troubles crossing the bridge, i would have gotten a transit pass, but because i already talked to temera there is no option to do this. I failed the two quests at the passage over the Ponta unintentionally, so i seem to have gotten myself softlocked out of a transit pass.

Is there any way i can get the transit pass now? I've progressed quite far before realising my problem, and i don't even know if i have saves going back that far.

there's a questgiver in the area before the bridge that can sell you one.

Before the bridge to oxenfort?

I've already done the quest on the bridge over the Ponta. I failed it, so he wouldnt sell me his pass

I wouldnt bother too much

There are probably some quests / merchants / PNJs...to get one if you missed the most obvious
In the meanwhile, you can use fast travel anyway

well then I guess the bridges are permanently closed off for you then. The only way to cross like previously mentioned is swim or take a boat.

Can't you buy a pass at the bridge/fort where all the refugees are next to the battlefield south of Novigrad and southwest of Oxenfurt? Also isn't there a quest where you can acquire a fake pass near there? (that may be the same quest)?
