Is the mysterious passenger quest important?

i was told if i finished the bloody baron sidequest this gets locked out. though i'm no where near the calm before the storm sidequest. how weirdly out of order do you have to do things to get this quest at all?

All this quest serves to do is point you to the location of an NPC introduced at the end of the Velen plotline. Therefore if you're doing things in the natural order of level progression (Velen->Novigrad->Skellige) you won't see it as you'll already know of the NPC, you just won't know their significance yet (which is revealed in the progression of the Skellige plotline).

its ALT mission fo ugly baby in a way but if u try to get this mission and u dont tell Baron about hes wife u miss out some story elements and delay some like after telling baron about hes wife he tells u more about ciri and u find out u need to go to nov next u see how it brakes imersion so its not important sins u know about uma if u followed the story correctly its a backup incase some fool rushes it to there


in other words u won't miss on anything if u do it in a correct order
