People with RTX 4070, 4070ti or 4080 playing 1440p
What is your average fps in 1440p with max settings + frame generation, RTX on and hairwork ON ?

Does frame generation still cause stuttering with patch 4.03 ?
I'm sceptic about taking a 4070ti or 4080 with a 2k monitor this summer

4080, 13700k, 1440p cranked (no motion blur or DoF because that would be cringe)

~110 average with fairly high lows. (Feels like it never dips below 90)
Only time I have had any FPS problems was going into the Putrid Grove, tanked to 50FPS and forced me to restart. Other than that, it's been a flawless experience

I would strongly recommend avoiding 4070 ti though. It's a neutered 4080.

Edit: This is on a fairly clean Windows 11 install and newest nvidia drivers

Do you active Frame Generation ?

I have a regular 4070 and I couldn't get a good stable 60fps with the RT ultra preset at 1440p DLSS auto (quality?), hairworks off. It was average 45-50fps in White Orchard. What's funny is that with the exact same settings in Cyberpunk I get a stable 60fps, but TW3 seems to be much more demanding for some reason. I run both without FG because I hate that it disables Vsync. I'll assume it will run above 60fps in TW3 with FG enabled though since it's supposed to double the framerate with artificially generated frames in between the real ones.

Try using this guy tips for rt : (don't know if this is the newest tip.)

It should give you more fps.

Just get a 4080 or 4090, I know the 4090 is a huge amount of money but performance is insane, I am playing at around 100fps at 4K.

I think imma buy an RX6950xt, i'm praying over FSR 3 to be better than DLSS but on more games

No, DLSS 2 is better than FSR is, dont get AMD, seriously its a waste, DLSS is on loads of game, FSR is just awful, barely any performance gain and it looks awful. With how AMD are DLSS 3 will be perfected before FSR can even do something similar.

4070ti is much better value than the 4080. That GPU should be no more than 950 bucks to be worth the price (even then that's a steep increase over previous gen).
if you're willing to spend more than 1k on a GPU I would say just go for the best available.

you're obviously an Nvidia fan, when the rx6950xt has the exact performance than a 4070ti for 300€ less my choice is made.
And for the FSR is "ugly, looks awful" i'm 100% sure you never tested or touched a AMD gpu of your life because i played several games with FSR balanced / quality and I never saw a single detail that change than native resolution

And 4070ti 192bit + the fact that's a 12Gb card for around 900-1000€ is kinda cold to me

78003dx and 4090 and yes it still stutters at 1440p with frame generation on. Nvidia confirmed they are working on a fix.

12600kf and 4070ti 1440p(RT Ultra, TAAU)
On average I get 90 frames, maximum additive was up to 75 frames.
If you use DLSS quality then an average of 110 frames
Zaway Jun 13, 2023 @ 5:51am
nvm imma get a RX 7900XT seems more fair and a better investment because nvidia price is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

All settings on Ultra (without "+")
Hairworks on.
RTX all on (perfomance mode)
