Spoiler alert for those who are not at this point in the game's story.

Ciri needed an item fixed but knew no one who could do so, so she went to her friend Dandelion. Dandelion suggested getting help from Whoreson Junior, who agreed to find someone who could fix it in exchange for Dijkstra's treasure.

Dandelion fails to acquire the treasure due to Caleb Menge, and because of that, Whoreson Junior thinks he was betrayed. To get his payback on Dandelion, he finds and tortures Dudu in hopes to bait Dandelion to come to him. They save Dudu, and while trying to run away from Whoreson's people, they get cornered. Ciri escapes through teleportation, while Dandelion gets captured.
