Can't start NG+

I just finished the main story and the game told me I was able to start a new game plus, I go back to the main menu and the option of new game plus isn't available, what the hell I'm doing wrong or how can I fix it if it is a bug?

It should be the last option when you select New game from the main menu

You have to have a save file after the end of the main story.

From what OP said they do. They probably just weren't in the right menu; probably didn't think that you click New Game first, and THEN New Game +. They probably expected it to be its own top level option.

I also get disabled the option of new game plus, eh loaded the last point of control when I finish the expansion Blood and Wine pass the final credits and nothing, maybe it is a bug or that is disabled by the changes to the game for the new generation.

I wanted to create a ng+ game after i finished all possible quests. It didnt worked.

Because it was already a NG+ game.

If u create a NG+ and finish it, you cant create a seccond NG+.
NG+ is only aviable with a Standard playtrugh.

I've been playing since I bought the base game with the Blood and Wine expansion and in 2020 I finished it completely, until 2022 I did some side missions and some places that I haven't visited. I was waiting for the game to come out with ray tracing, I was testing it and doing some side missions and exploring. But in the menu I get the option of new game plus disabled. And that I have never given the NG+

hm okay i understand. Maybe because of some updates?
I think if u now start a game u can choose ng+ after u finished.

i bought the dlcs after i started ng+. so i finished the game just with lvl 30-33 and wasn't able to reach lvl 100 in ng+. (what i wanted).
So if you`d like to get lvl100 you shouldnt rush the first playthrough. I ended up with 30-33 and got +/- lvl 84 after i finished ng+. So i think you should be fine with lvl 45+ at the first time end

That's what I thought, maybe it has something to do with the next gen update conflicting with classic game saves. I just started a new game all over again, because it's like I've never unlocked NG+.

I had a similar problem. Completed the game numerous times.. the new game + was grey. Left the game, found the ng+ in dlc and reinstalled it... still did not work..

Then i started a new game. Waited for the NG+ message. left, and started a NG+ with my old badass save
