Updated Game. Now, Where Are My Saves?

It was really hard getting into this game, but after three tries, I finally did. Now, that time is lost. I just want to continue playing where I left off. How can I recover the save files?

Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves

updated game loads old save files from my old desktop dated december 2015

if you use steam cloud, log into steam on your web browser and check your steam cloud save folder.

The save folder was newly installed (1 KB). Turns out, my saves were on another computer.

I was able to get the Steam Cloud files in Manage > Properties > General > Steam Cloud. I enabled that, started the game, and now I have the 'Continue' option.

I have an save file near end of game.
( last mission of main game + dlc left to finish)

If you ever lose any save file near end or just want something to test and not want to corrupt your original save file you are free to use it.

(Just make sure to follow description and install everything correctly if you decide to use it)
