Currently almost finished "Night of the long fangs" at level 24 on Deathmarch, "Land of a 1000 fables" and those bleedin pixies, r slowin me down.. BTW I can take a bruxxe down in about 2 mins!
Frog kings tongue punch ability is lame, but you can burn him down if you have raffards and dodge his hops. Assuming youre not level 4, you absolute loon
Rend makes the pixies EXTREMELY trivial to deal with
It takes me 2 minutes to kill Detlaff, and less to kill any other contract boss in the game. Bruxae are pretty much the only thing I have real problems killing. Shalemar and centepedes can cause problems sometimes if I turn my brain off
Of that's not crazy enough, I took on 2 slyzards at level 14... https://youtu.be/TfFC_MX88Co.
Centipedes r a snap, Aracnothingees.... Those r some tough buggerz... took them down too. No vid evidence, but I was in Toussant from level 13. The group near Fox Hollow
Reliever's decoction, you mean. I'm aware. Edit: Still detest her.
Truly the scourge of early DM playthroughs
It's the one fight in the whole game I find no enjoyment from completing and having to repeat. I'm not much of a Iris fan either to be honest. I suppose that contributes its fair share of the source of my detestation. While I do have appreciation for the gothic appeal, Iris was too meek for my taste, weak and rather pitiful.
I disliked the whole distorted world gimmick too. Kinda made my head hurt
I'm on the other side. That it involved paintings, and the whole alt-reality was done in the impressionistic style (think Monet) was bloody brilliant. I thought it as cool as seeing the elf doing a cubist nude in the Avalach quest.
