Worst enemy in the game(?)
I feel like every one is gonna have their own personal scourge to fight, which I'd love to talk about below. TW3 certainly has it's share of powerful monsters and insidious men that need limbs extricated from their bodies.

This may well be a case of git gud, or just that my very linear play style of swing sword and cast quen just doesnt work. but GOOD LORD are Bruxae awful.

Third playthrough of this game, always on death march. Geralt take out a higher vampire without getting a scratch, Slay waves of necrophages and bandits effortlessly by imitating a beyblade. Only truly at the whim of gravity, portals, and female's manipulations.
One blood sucking booby bastard though? Awful.

Frog prince, I've managed to kick his azz at level 14 though, I've tried at level 4, an well i do bugger all damage:steamthumbsdown: Heres me with the TP at level 4 on Deathmatch https://youtu.be/JwVaRZdNT4Q. 12 levels later was in Toussant.

Currently almost finished "Night of the long fangs" at level 24 on Deathmarch, "Land of a 1000 fables" and those bleedin pixies, r slowin me down.. BTW I can take a bruxxe down in about 2 mins!

Frog kings tongue punch ability is lame, but you can burn him down if you have raffards and dodge his hops. Assuming youre not level 4, you absolute loon
Rend makes the pixies EXTREMELY trivial to deal with

It takes me 2 minutes to kill Detlaff, and less to kill any other contract boss in the game. Bruxae are pretty much the only thing I have real problems killing. Shalemar and centepedes can cause problems sometimes if I turn my brain off

Lol I'm a right loon, of swords and dumplings completed at level 3 om DM. I took out a level 48 Shalzamar at level 17. I took his life down b4 I recorded. https://youtu.be/p81HJ6ZsmOU

Of that's not crazy enough, I took on 2 slyzards at level 14... https://youtu.be/TfFC_MX88Co.

Centipedes r a snap, Aracnothingees.... Those r some tough buggerz... took them down too. No vid evidence, but I was in Toussant from level 13. The group near Fox Hollow

Reliever's decoction, you mean. I'm aware. Edit: Still detest her.

They aren't actually that difficult, but I don't look forward to fighting earth elementals. They are slow and predictable so it's not really a death-defying fight but it is a war of attrition with the sheer amount of punishment they can take, especially if they are a good bit above your level like some of the ones you might run across at guarded treasures. They can hurt pretty bad if you do mess up to but generally the formula is a simple "smack, smack, roll, smack, smack" with periodic quen thrown in and maybe some elementa oil or dimeritium bombs if you want (and very likely a few sword repairs along the way, again, if you bother). It's just that it can be like 20+ minutes of that solid, which is why it gets annoying.

It's the one fight in the whole game I find no enjoyment from completing and having to repeat. I'm not much of a Iris fan either to be honest. I suppose that contributes its fair share of the source of my detestation. While I do have appreciation for the gothic appeal, Iris was too meek for my taste, weak and rather pitiful.

I disliked the whole distorted world gimmick too. Kinda made my head hurt

for me the final fight boss at blood and wine was hard the guy was killing me with his ability non stop , had to try and try again until I just went with one hit kill before the ability could even trigger.

I'm on the other side. That it involved paintings, and the whole alt-reality was done in the impressionistic style (think Monet) was bloody brilliant. I thought it as cool as seeing the elf doing a cubist nude in the Avalach quest.
