Or look for the launcher in the game files somewhere. Whether I open CP 2077 or Witcher 3, I get the launcher that shows those games and the Gwent game, which I don't own.
Just throwing a random idea out there.
Next would be to verify the files.
Last thing to try would be to back up your save files, uninstall the game then re-download and re-install. I have slower internet, so that's what that's the last option I mention. I'm lucky to get 5 MB/s at 2-3AM (2MB/s during the day) ever since the police have set up a sting operation in my area and set up Stingrays all over. I can see the fake PCI tower numbers.
Called it 5 or 6 years ago (snoopsnitch on a rooted Galaxy S4 that detects stingrays). Now my current phone isn't rooted but I do know what to look for. BTW, for snoopsnitch to work, you have to be on a GSM network (like AT&T or T-Mobile, NOT Verizon, it's CDMA.)
So, when the drug task force moves in and sets up their stingray fake cell towers to intercept all mobile traffic then relay it to the actual tower, my internet suffers and I can see it with certain LTE Discovery tools. I've triangulated one of them right where they did it 5 or so years ago before a huge drug bust.
It's certainly a breach of privacy for everyone else AND it kills the internet speeds and pings. What makes it annoying is that they can remove innocent people's phones from connecting to the stingray devices, but they're either too dumb to do so or enjoy their "authority" a bit too much.
And it's aggravating because this is the "war on drugs." FBI works with cartel. Brings in m@thamph3tamin3. They go to Georgia, hand it out to the 4-5 informants, and it spreads all across the south as they track it. GA, TN, VA, KY in particular. Creating crime to bust crime. Anti-constitutional if I've ever seen it.
This is not conspiracy theory BS. This IS, however, a conspiracy. Look up the definitions. FBI works with state bureaus... which work with individual County sheriff's offices.
"The government would never do that."
I'll just remind everyone of the FBI Director Eric Holder and the "Fast and Furious" scandal. FBI supplying cartels with weapons.
But... again, that's a tangent. My original hopefully helpful answers might help in the first post.
This post is just to wake people up to what goes on behind the scenes.
It matters to be because my phone's internet is my only internet. I tether (USB or Wi-Fi Direct). So this directly effects my mobile performance and I do not get what I pay top dollar for. I used to get get 5MB/s at the worst times of the day and up to 9MB/s at night time. Or 80ish Mbits/s for those more familiar with that terminology. Now I can hardly do anything without lagging out in an online game.
Either way, I've got around 6 GB of files... files I can't name, that show this is going on. It's unconstitutional. Not that I can do anything about it nor does it have anything to do with me. But it does affect my mobile internet, my top tier price plan for TRULY unlimited internet, fast speeds, etc. (I d/l 1TB per month through tethering from downloading games and watching YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Amazon Music, etc. etc.)
And the problem is, they have the ability to say "THIS device's IMEI can bypass our stingray"... but they don't because.. well, we all know you can't be too smart to work in law enforcement. Invasion of privacy? You got that right. With the gigs and gigs of data I've, umm.. gathered this year alone, let alone the last time this happened, I have a feeling I could sue them over this. But I'd probably end up self-ended with my hands handcuffed behind my back with two shots in the back of my head.
But then again... someone has to expose the corruption. YES, m3th is a terrible problem. But the feds brings it in..
Why? Because they create criminals and then get to impound their cars or use asset forfeiture and take homes and property. Things that never would have happened had the feds never brought it in and put it in their hands. It's money in the books to them.
1. Downloading the newest version
2. Open the configurations /local files.
3. I needed to edit the launcher-configuration.json. In the *fallback* field i had to put DirectX 11 and then save and close.
4. In the game's config parameters I had to type "--launcher-skip".
About your war of drugs, sorry but you live in America, your country is corrupt I think everyone outside of the US knows this except for the US itself.
