2. Right-click on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and select Properties.
3. Go to BETAS and select CLASSIC - the game will update automatically.
I am currently playing on the next gen and it is somewhat unstable for me. Not that it is very game breaking or anything, but occasionally the water breaks and the game soon crashes. Sometimes it only happens in textures and once I could not dive but after exiting water and entering it again it fixed itself. I've had only one annoying bug when during the fight I could not for the love of God cast the basic Yrden, only the full charge one which was horrible, but I managed
It's been just as stable as the "classic" and noticeably impressively prettier.
The bits of new content and minimal quest edits in places are damned cool, too.
5. Started a completely new game as I had no completed game saves -
Lovin' it without the glitches of the updated version and lovin' starting fresh, looking great and playing great
I can't Thank you enough Wodecki, you get the Golden Unicorn Award
I playu at 1440p max settings with RT on with a 5800x3d / 3080 and its bascially a solid 60fps other than some specific areas, but 49fps is fine with a controller.
I don't know my exact setup, it's low end for sure, but I could play just fine until I restarted the game half a year later knowing nothing about these "upgrades" which were downgrades. Have been searching for a solution now since, I hope this is one.
Normally I can tolerate the occasional crash, but it crashed 4 times for me just going through White Orchard. Looking around on the internet, I am clearly not the only one still experiencing these issues, and I very much doubt the problem is on my end.
