Crashing
Crashing a few minutes into loading after the new patch. Anyone else getting the same issue? I'm on a i7-12700K and a 4080.

I don't know if it's placebo but playing with the new Nvidia driver 531.41 and had no crashes for about 40 minutes.

Are you getting an "Event ID - 0" nvlddmkm error in Event viewer? That's what always happened with my FG crashes, I wonder if the same thing is happening after this patch for some people. Strange.

I'm still on 531.18 currently and was able to play for 40 or so minutes without issue after the patch. But it was never a driver issue.

Nvidia Freestyle filters might be what made me crash after the hotfix (on 4080 with FG).

Now that I stopped using them, no crashes so far... Could be the reason why people with fresh drivers aren't crashing (as the filters reset with a new driver installation).

after the latest patch update, i was having issues. cant even open the game, it was crashing instantly. before that i had frame gen crashing issue.
It was still crashing even after receiving the hot fix.. actually i had some mods.. i removed them but the game was crashing too. So uninstalled then re installed the game again now it was running smoothly.
I guess u guys who had frame gen issues can try this.. uninstall and reinstall. worth to give it a shot

New hotfix solves the problem of crashes with all max and frame on settings. The driver is 531.41. Please note, that after each driver installation you need to manually run Nvidia Profile Inspector and activate reBar for The Witcher 3. Also I manually updated nvngx_dlssg_1.10.0 and nvngx_dlss_3.1.11.

what do you mean? I thoughr resbar gets activated in bios, and is always on and controlled by nvidia on default?

you mean resbar is not working on normal driver?

I also use a RX series card, RX 5700. I am aware that it is a bit old but I was playing without any problems before the 4.0.2 update. My drivers are up to date and I still can't play after todays "fix".
