RDR2 looks much better, thats my personal opinion and pretty much 99% of people, RDR2 is generally much more detailed and higher quality in graphics than wild hunt
I'm still playing Witcher 3's recent update with RTX off.
Witcher 3 was made with 80m usd, RDR2 with between 200 and 300M USD.
Thinking sbout it that is testament on how good TW3 turned out with way less budget.
But Witcher III Wild Hunt is far better in term of plot, character development, dynamic quests, mechanics and fantasy setting, also one thing RDR2 has superior to Witcher 3 is realism like Animals have real life like behaviors, whilst Witcher 3 only focused on fantasy setting but still Witcher 3 if not for graphics far outweighs red dead redemption 2, RDR 2 is nothing in front of Witcher 3 literally nothing not even spec dust in terms of game-play and everything that a game should be.
in terms of open-worlds tho I feel RDR2 is a notch better. Sadly I find that, as good as the world is, it is painfully underutilized and both games would benefit greatly from taking pointers from BOTW and Elden Ring to make their open-worlds more engaging.
Witcher 3 is imo a much better and way less tedious game, but RDR2 is supperior with it's graphics and the open world fidelity. Witcher 3 reuses many assets many times (which also safes a lot of space on your drive)
lol, this is objectively false
witcher 3 is a better game but it doesn't come close to RDR2 graphically
I haven't played rdr2 but I've seen many videos. I would say tw3 comes close or even looks better depending on what style you like.
