Kling of the Clink etymology (B&W)
Can somebody explain to me what this name of the quest means?

So far I got this:

kling - blade (sharp edge of a knife or sword) - Borrowed from German Klinge

clink (1) - (onomatopoeia) The sound of metal on metal, or glass on glass.VERB. To make a clinking sound; to make a sound of metal on metal or glass on glass; to strike materials such as metal or glass against one another. (humorous, dated) To rhyme - From Middle English clinken, from Old English clincan (compare clynnan, clynian (“to sound; resound”)), from Proto-Germanic *klinganą (“to sound”). Derived terms Cognates include Middle Dutch klinken and German klingen. Related to cling (sound) and clang. May be further related to call. Perhaps of onomatopoeic origin, as metal against metal

clink (2) - (slang) A prison. Stress cracks produced in metal ingots as they cool after being cast - From the Clink prison in Southwark, London, itself presumably named after sound of doors being bolted or chains rattling. Also, perhaps, from the practice of prisoners to rattle some metal objects like mugs on the prison cell bars to annoy guards or get attention

So, Kling of the Clink = sharp edge of the prison ???

Doesn't make any sense...

For me also but this is not quest name, it's achievement. In Pollish languane name of it is: "Skazany w Toussaint" translating into English: Convicted in Toussaint.
I have no idea why did they change it to this nonsense =).

When I actually got to that quest myself it became clear. It means "King of the Prison" - from the quote of a prison dealer in Beauclair Prison: "You see, out there beyond the walls, I'm lowly dogsbody. But here in the klingdom of the clink, I'm the kling."

Freaking mumble-jumble!
