Kling of the Clink achievement

Serve time in Toussaint.
Done that. Skipped the flint girl, killed Dettlaff, ended up in jail. Finished Burlap is the new stripe quest line (told Anna Henrietta about fifth letter).
Still no achievement.
Am I missing something here?

EDIT. I have it, I did excatly what you did..

EDIT 2.... Lol Yeah i did it b4 the 4,0 update.. They might have changed it

No actually when I said pre-update i meant PRE-update, I got it in 2021.. I remember getting the achievement, but that's all. U might want to check a wiki... just to be sure.

Yeah, I read the wiki, it doesn't explain anything.
I'm going to replay it couple of times, to see if I can get it. Not sure where to start. Probably right before Dettlaff fight. It's a long ass quest, which way too much dialogue...

U didnt mention taking serina with u during "Night of the long fangs" thats also condition

Ugh, looks like achievements are straight up broken. I just tried the cow/chort murder achievement in White Orchard (because it's quick and easy), and it's not triggering either.

You mean Syanna? I freed her from the Disneyland of course since that is what needed for Dettlaff to kill her and get me into jail.

Oh lol well that's why then...... U have to redo "Night of the long fangs" and go talk to Syanna in the tower, then follow though with the rest

I think you might be confused. Syanna gets jailed in the tower if she survives the encounter with Dettlaff by means of the ribbon from the flint girl. If she survives, then Geralt doesn't get jailed, and both Syanna and Anna Henrietta die later during ceremony.

Yes but uhave 2 chocies of how to do "Night of the long fangs" summin the elder, with Oriena's help, or follow damien, which leads to talking to S in the tower..

The point is for Geralt to get jailed not Syanna. That only happens is Syanna gets killed by Dettlaff. The conversation in the tower only happens if she gets saved by the ribbon. And maybe if you took the unseen elder path (not sure about this one).

In any case, as I said, the achievements seem to be broken in general, not just this one.

hmm you should get the award just b4 the cut scene where ya in prison, ya know pans in and says "2 weeks later"

I think you also have to spare Detlaff rather than kill him to unlock it. That's what I did and I got the achievement.
