Is there a Multiplayer/Co-Op mod for the The Witcher 3?

I don't care for anything too pompous, any Multiplayer/Co-Op mod will do. Something that allows users to join each other save as a random witcher. Even if it's not perfect. Or even a copy-paste clone of Geralt if the mod isn't that developed.

I don't care if the story doesn't make sense if two players are there. The story probably stays the same and there's an extra random character.

Yeah, there's an inconsistency with having another random player in open-world just fights alongside you but can't start or track quests and isn't acknowledged in the cutscene, but I think it's the best compromise between having mp/co-op in Witcher 3 and not having to create a sidekick that makes sense within the story that would follow Geralt and accomodate all cutscenes for the presence of this new sidekick of Geralt.

There was an RPG I played a while ago, it had optional 2 players co-op, and in 2 players co-op he was just an extra, following him in the battle and appearing in cutscenes but saying nothing, he was just there. And it was great, it was a great compromise IMO. Of course, The Witcher 3 has some cutscenes where you really don't want a 2nd person around, not even just standing there and saying nothing, so I completely understand not having that part and just keeping him in open-world for the sake of mp/coop functionality.

So yeah, is there any mp/coop the Witcher 3 mods out there? I don't care for anything too pompous, just the ability to play 2 players at the same time on the open world.

A mod similar to the co-op in Skyrim I mean.

Or did the developers say they are going to implement a multiplayer/co-op mod for The Witcher 3 since they are still making patches?

You have a very inaccurate understanding of multiplayer systems if you think adding CO-OP to Witcher 3 would be a "time-efficient, minor modification". No, this mod does not exist, and it never will.
