Good combat mods recommendation
So, does any of you have any good combat mods to recommend? I wanted to replay the game after the new patch, but i actually forgot how uninteresting and boring i find the combat in this game. Any combat mods that are compatible with the new update?

there aren't "different builds" tho, are there? I mean, i actually don't specialize at all. I put some skills in light or heavy attack, some in signs and some in that generic tree. Alchemy is OP, sure, but it is basically a set of modifiers. It's the melee that i find abhorrent, and there is really no way around it in vanilla. What different builds do you suggest?
hmm. I find the new quick cast system and the close camera to give the combat a much more dynamic and fluid experience. That said, I use modded animations SCAAR and improved combat animations, as well as immersive motion. With those 3 mods running the game feels way more solid. It removes a lot of jank and looks more exciting. Especially the SCAAR dodge mechanics. That said, FCR3 which is integrated into the game now, makes it so you can play the game out of order but it also is pretty easy at least on Blood and Bones. Haven't tried death march and FCR 3 yet.

OTOH. if you want a complete game rebalance to make it harder,

User Partoutatix has created a series of no level requirement mods https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/7357 to allow you to play the game in any direction without becoming OP halfway thru the game. I haven't tried it myself but its on my radar.

W3EE redux is currently been re-released for next gen not sure if they have all the bugs worked out yet. But that is a classic overhaul, that I def plan to try.

Ghost mode not sure if WS ghost is going to rebuild this or not. But this one is the one I really want to try. Seems like it ups the difficultly and makes stamina more challenging, makes armor values more important etc. But its not been update yet.

Beyond there are mods out there to change scaling, nerf quen, and force stamina loss on dodge and rolls etc.
