Black screen after entering Portal in Aeramas' Abandoned Manor on Proton
During the quest "Of Dairy and Darkness" the game consistently freezes/crashes with a black screen when I enter the Portal in Aeramas' Abandoned Manor. Everything else seems to work fine. I should mention that I am running the game using "Prton Hotfix" compatibility tool.

I am mainly interested if others have had the same issue, or if it is just me?

Just switch to DX11 version for the quest...

It looks like this was it. I thought I was already running the game in DX11 version, but I guess I was wrong. Here is what I did:

In the following file:
steamapps/common/The Witcher 3/launcher-configuration.json
I set:
"fallback": "DirectX 11"

I also went from using "Proton Hotfix" to "Proton 7.0-5", but that is probably unrelated.
