How to start the damn Heart of Stone DLC ?????
It's installed, but isn't there supposed to be a quest in my journal to start it ? It ain't there and I'm level 29. The game has already informed me I can start the 'Blood and Wine' DLC content, but no mention at all of 'Heart of Stone'.

Confusing to say the least !

Could allways go to the 7 cats Inn,(or wot-ever it's called) start it from the notice board.

Start what exactly ? There are 6 small notices there............ just the small humorous ones that CDPR does. Nothing that's a 'quest'; quests are larger pieces of paper on the noticeboard. Grabbed them all - nada.

There's supposed to be a notice there for a contract to start the quest "Monster in the Oxenfurt Sewers" but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing is not there. It's not in my quest log and I have no way of starting this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing.

♥♥♥♥ this pisses me off. All happy and ♥♥♥♥ that the next-gen didn't obliterate my graphics like so many others.... but now this crap.

What happens if I start a 'new game' for 'Heart of Stone' only ? Am I able to come back to where I was ???

All i'm doing is quoting from the In game Quest, which says "Goto the noticeboard at the 7 cats inn". I cant explain why u cant start it unless the DLC isint installed

BTW have you got the quest for the Runeweight? coz he's exclusive to "hearts of stone"

Check for any blue quests in your questbook, that is the heart and stone quest.

Hmm quite frankly, only 1 last ditch idea, "verify" the files, it's odd I know, but games can run with files missing, UNTILL u need those files, at least hahahaha

SUCCESS !!!!!!!!!!!! I had Steam verify my files and for one reason or another, one had to be re-downloaded. That must've been the magic one because now all of a sudden the necessary quest has appeared in my journal. In blue lol.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help. Genuinely appreciated.

Ah yes now I get it. And yeah it does look like a pleasant diversion from ther day to day stuff.

I get this feeling that I'm dealing with a frickin' genie or something........... 3 wishes ? Also like how they brought back an NPC from very very early in the game. "Hi remember me ?". "Nope."
