Newbie here. Should I go with Story and Sword or Blood and Broken Bones?
I've tried Blood and Broken Bones first and got rekt by those 3 stupid looking fish. Should I continue or go with the other mode instead?

I personally think death march is the way to get the best experience of Witcher 3. Just keep Quen shield on constantly. If it breaks, just recast it. Also, don't ever fight anyone who has a higher level than your own. But to each their own. That's my just my opinion.
I only have 44 min on this game ;.; I cant even beat those fish

Quen is your best friend. just cast it, go in for an attack and if you get hit, your shield will break and that's all, so you just dodge out of the fight, cast another shield and go back in. Repeat process
Oh wow thanks. Thats a dirty idea and I like it

The only problem is how easily that can become your standard attack for any enemy, at least at the non - boss level. Also, don't be afraid to go in for the kill when you see they're on the ropes, just be wary - it's easier once you've determined they're attack patterns.

I would start on the 2nd lowest difficulty and work your way up. If its your first time playing Witcher 3 a few tips, try out the side quests they're very well made. Don't google what your choices do as this can ruin much of the plot, if you regret your choice you can always replay and make different choices.
If you play at higher difficulty make use of oils, the auto-apply oil mod is very useful.

Im doing quests but I notice that I have a slight motion sickness in this game. Just like The Forest but It doesnt happen in Left 4 Dead 2, this may ruin my gaming experience if I dont figure out a way to overcome it. Motion blur off & low sen still not helping. What a shame :(

Make sure camera distance is default and not close, also turn off vignette, bloom, chromatic aberration and camera lens effects.

I'd say, lower the difficulty a bit to prevent frustration.

Practise a bit. Accquire some nice gear, some xp. Mix potions. Find a combat style that works for you.
Especially in regards to perks/mutagenes, there are a lot of possible 'builds' and tactics.
Just try out different things, you can always change your style/your perks (the later one requires a potion).
And once you feel comfortable you can increse difficulty again.

Go deathmarch. It'll be a struggle your first time, but worth it. Once you learn how to master the use of quen+ dodge, most enemies become easy, especially when you memorize their attack patterns and learn to feint.
When dealing with a crowd it's best to unlock your camera instead of being locked on, geralt responds better.
