Veni vidi vigo
I'm very confused about this quest.
1 objective is to get on the emperors boat unseen.
I've tried a hundred times maybe but I'm always seen when I climb on board.
I don't understand what to do. I've seen a couple videos and they also all get seen when climbing on board.

How to do it the right way witouth getting seen?

I think you get seen every time. Then hand over the Yennefer's letter and take Fringilla in return.

Alright that's strange. The way it's written it sounds like you have to get on unseen.

Ow well, thanks for the answer.

did you expect a "stealth mission", when geralt cant even crouch?

Tip: Unless the game explicitly tells you you've failed a specific quest step, you haven't.

Uhm haha yeah. I was trying time after time after time to interact with the anchor under water instead of above water. You know, the sneak part of the description lol

It is absolutely possible to get onto the emperor's ship unseen.

You need to wait until it's nightfall and don't get too close on your little boat, if you use it they will definitely spot you. Swim underwater instead and only come up for air in places where there are no search lights. Make sure you get air before approach the emperor's ship and swim underwater, find the anchor and climb up. Voila.

If you took Ciri to see Emhyr before Blood on the Battlefield, then he will be a lot more reciprocative to your presence on his ship. If you didn't take Ciri to meet him, then you'll be met with a more hostile welcome.

That's exactly what I did. Swam under water. Go to the anchor. But can't interact with it under water. Need to come up. And then the soldiers say stand down. And you can climb up.

Not very sneaky lol. Unless the sneak part is just to get to the boat witouth getting killed.

Your task is to get TO Emhyrs ship... unseen preferable.
If they see you, they'll start shooting at you with arrows.
Once you've reached the target ship, they'll see you and shout 'Its the Witcher, stop shooting'. Then you've succeeded.
You will always be seen when you try to get ON the ship.

Yeah I finished already, the main game aswell. Got the"good" ending I think.

I forgot what that quest description exactly was but with my broken understanding of the English language it was written pretty unclear.

Yeah I looked it up, here's the description:

Sneak onto the emperor's flagship under the cover of darkness.

Get to the emperor's boat unseen would have been much clearer.

Oh, just realized what you were getting at, I can be so dense sometimes but yes you're correct, the quest objective description is certainly a bit misleading.
