Went to play today and got an unexpected graphics message -
and got a yellow bar on the bottom of the launch screen that said my - graphics driver is out of date and to install the latest one here - message : It didn't say anything else, just a link with no address to view so I didn't click it. ** I just played yesterday and had no issues. ** Anyone know what's up with this?

Any feedback would be appreciated. I don't like surprise things like that, especially when there's no info on who, what, where, when and why - well I got the why, but why/how is this possible when it''s been running fine? Thanks in advance! Anything is appreciated :)

Sounds a little suspicious my friend, good thinking not to click, my advice would be to check what ever graphic management comes with your card, and see if there's a update.
If not check that Windows Update aint throwing a wobbly and needs some crappy "hotfix".

If all that checks out, you can try by-passing the launcher, I don't know how though, sorry

It checks for driver updates each time you launch the game. It will allow you to play with old drivers or even without having any drivers installed, so you don't have to do anything. Unlike some scammier launchers like the one RDR2 uses. Doesn't even allow you to launch the game if you haven't installed newest drivers even if those drivers are in beta. lmeo

tl:dr This launcher is just bloatware, ignore it if you have no problems with performance.

Thanks to both replies - I went in to manage card and did a manual update from my PC and not the link they tried to get me to click on their launcher. All is good on my end now.

Appreciate the community lookout :) Thanks!
