Obviously I’m going to play how I want. I was just curious if others felt the same. The up close camera feels clunky to me.
The Default almost makes it too easy (I'm a new W3 player), you can see everything around you effortlessly. I do not think their new combat camera auto-turn works with Default, but doesn't require tighter camera movements, so I'm glad they left both options open.
Yes, it's always good to have your field of view artificially hampered so you can't see around you, but you can see the new textures better!
I loved God of War, but it’s combat was designed around the camera. The Witcher 3 was not designed for it. Kratos isn’t constantly flying back and forth between enemies like Geralt. I thought I would like the up close camera for combat but I just don’t in the Witcher.
I couldn't stand the camera one iota in God of War, which is why I used an FOV fix for the little I played it.
