Movement Delay
Anyone else noticing a significant delay with Geralt's movement since this update? I've noticed that maybe half of the time I stop walking, flip the camera 180 degrees, and press W to turn around and walk the other way, he'll just stand there for upwards of a full second before moving. This isn't input lag or anything like that, as the camera immediately reacts to my input. Geralt just doesn't move for awhile.

Yeah, it's driving me crazy. It happens on controller and with mouse and keyboard.

I haven't played for very long, but, i did noticed that the movement felt... odd with the controler, i'm going to mess around with later tonight to see. Hope it's one of the dumb settings CDPR introduced that i can turn it off.

I imagine this would only be a thing on AMD cards because they have no reflex.

same here :/

Under settings - display, try to choose Nvidia reflex low latency on + boost. And if you can't use that, try putting hardware cursor on. Should help!

Yeah happens for me too. Nvidia latency options and hardware cursor don't make a difference sadly.

i have this same problem and setting reflex + boost nor hardware cursor did not solve this

There's a setting in the gameplay options called movement response or something, if it's set to default that might be the cause of your problems

No, movement response didn't fix it either

Reflex might not be working for you. If I switch it off its how you describe.

This is an issue I have noticed, but hadn't heard anyone else talk about it before your comment. So I thought maybe it was always like this. I haven't played the game really since Blood and Wine released.

Like if I stop moving Geralt and then rotate the camera and try to get him to move the opposite direction that he is facing he will not move. The camera will move a bit in the direction I press, but Geralt will just stand there for a second before finally moving.

This happens for me whether I have DLSS Frame Generation enabled or not. Reflex is set to On.

Nvidia card here, and I know it isn't input delay. As I mentioned, the camera reacts to me pressing W (kinda goes down slightly, as if I am moving), but Geralt doesn't actually move for a few moments.

This definitely feels like an animation issue rather than an input issue, and definitely only since this patch. If I roll back to 1.32, the issue goes away.

getting like 100ms delay and stays same even if i turn on reflex

Yes it's a new bug which happens with the old camera view as well, with the old view it zooms in a little bit before running and with the new camera view it zooms out a little bit before running, it does this as well by just running forward.

It happens when you try to run right after stopping and you keep spamming run stop run stop and so on, but if Geralt stands still for an extra second or two than the bug doesn't appear, so just avoid the spamming of run and stop for now until they fix it.

It's not input delay. Its the game. Have been testing this too. Only happens when you try to turn 180 degrees, as far as I have noticed atleast. Both with Hardware cursor and Nvidia Reflex + boost. There is no delay for anything else, just this.
