Solution for Blurry Image after Update
This one is simple, and is a problem I've experienced before in Assassin's Creed Origins.
Within the Witcher 3's Graphics setting, change Anti-Aliasing to FXAA, and then save and exit the game. Now open the Nvidia Control Panel. Navigate to the tab called Program Settings, the menu where you can change Nvidia settings for individual games. Change "Antialiasing - FXAA" to "On" (it's Off by default). Also see the Nvidia control panel setting called "Antialiasing - Transparency" and change that to "4x (supersample)". You can also enable Image Sharpening within the Witcher 3 graphics settings to further sharpen things up, as well as disabling any Blur effects.
Hope this helps somebody who doesn't like the new blurry look of the updated game.

I'm gonna have to disagree with ya there. I'm on a GTX 1060 and I do indeed notice a positive difference, but not a performance hit.

Thanks man gonna trie that. The game really looks blurry as hell.

My man 1060 couldn't supersample even by 0.5x let alone 4x. Truth is that most of those settings don't work with dx11+ games for like 6 years now.

Well since you're using FXAA than the picture is already sharp, though FXAA doesn't really work in this game it's basically the same as being turned off, so now the picture is just shimmery.

Also you would definitely notice 4x super sample, because 4x super sample is 4x 1080p so basically 4K and your card would barely handle that.

Yeah I think those AA settings work only in DX9 games if I remember correctly.

Ray Tracing always makes some textures blurry in cdpr titles
