FPS Overlays not working after 4.0 update.

I am unable to get FPS overlays working with the new 4.0 update.
I have tried the default Steam FPS counter overlay, as well as the RivaTunerStatistics overlay.
Tried running on Windowed Borderless and Full Screen modes, nothing seems to show up.

Same. Steam, riva, geforce, game bar, no fps counter is working. Makes it difficult to know what your graphics settings should be, which is kinda the whole point of the update

Yes, it works on dx11, but ray tracing does not, right? That’s the main feature of the update

The Steam overlay doesn't work at all. Found out while trying to take screenshots of Yennefer in the opening!

Must be why there's a Digital Foundry delay on the Tweak vid. If they can't count frames, no one can.

Cmon guys... it's been posted several times here:

"Navigate to your Witcher 3 folder at : ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64_dx12

Then you'll want to delete dxil.dll and d3d11tod3d12.dll, restart the game and it'll work then."

you can delete couple of files to get it worked but overall its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ build overall

if you guys want see fps you need to use fps monitor from nvidia, basically two options

or by default use nvidia for "bench" or "recording"

or delete two files from bin witcher 3 dx12 folder to hook game with obs and afterburner etc

win + G and use the xbox game bar to show fps

only one that works for me is GeForce Experience overlay. You can press ALT+R for the perf overlay.
