Griffin School Technique
So the problem with this skill (single point investment) is that it give flat 20 stamina regeneration, but the tooltip says that it supposed to increased stamina by 5% for every medium armor piece you wear. So it base the 5% increase in stamina of the non combat stamina regeneration, that is 100 stamina/s. I feel like the skill 'Griffin School Technique' is to powerful and probably not working as intended. This can't be how the skill is supposed to function?

I guess i can fix it through modding myself but i don't remember how to do it and i haven't found any mod that adress it. Also I'm not sure how modding has changed with 4.0, maybe it's the same as before?

From my 2.000+ hours Witcher 3 experience, I can assure you that the skill works as it's supposed to do; nerfing it would imbalance medium witcher armors, the Griffin one in particular. The idea is that medium armors users should base their playing style on a combination of signs and strong and fast attacks. Remove that and you basically make the entire category useless when compared to other two. Imagine nerfing the damage dealing capabilites of the feline set, or the defensive stats of the ursine one ...

all broken stuff as well, that many overhault addressed in one way or another (ghost mod, redux, we33)
but they dont work on nextgen™
Well, that's an opinion, but the fact that reducing stamina regeneration for medium armors would make them unplayable is a hard reality, because they were specifically and overtly designed to be used in the way I previously detailed. I have tested each and every armor in the game for hours, and there's nothing broken in the way Griffin School Tecniques works: they are powerful, granted, but they don't make medium armors overshadow the others.

But adding a flat 20 stamina/s for just one invested point? When even the description says it adds 5% stamina for every medium armor that you wear. Why would it take those 5% from the non combat stamina regen? That makes no sense to me.

I have been playing with the nerf and it's been working fine. Without nerfing the skill i can just spam signs forever and whenever i want.

they did add FCR3 into the game, but this is the worse and easiest overhault

Thanks for that. Though it seems like it changed other things as well, but i look into the mod and see if i can add it myself. I did this years ago but now i don't remember how.
