No basic Swallow and Thunderbold recipes

I can't see basic Swallow and Thunderbolt recipes in the Alchemy menu. Where to get them? I have finished all quests in the White Orchard. Im 18 lvl.

BTW, where I can find imnproved recipes of these ones?

The drops are random. Keep looking throughout the game.

How are you level 18 if all you've done is White Orchard?

All recipes come to the patient witcher.

Seriously, you'll find them. Sooner or later.
Its random. There are chest all over the maps, in some random ruins, and there are a few quest locations where you can get a dozend in a row. These elfish ruins you can visit with Keira Metz, and the Novigard sewers you can explore with Tris. Maybe exploring with a Sorceress grants good luck ;)

Diagrams for potions are generally random and you'll find them mostly at alchemy stores and from herbalists, although some superior diagrams can only be found in chests which I believe is also random.

I thought, there is certain palce where you can find the certain recepies?

You should already have those recipes when you start the game.

That said, there are two filters that may hide them in the Alchemy list:
* you haven't yet brewed them, and are missing at least one of the ingredients
* you've already brewed them

In the former case, for basic Swallow -- you need 1x Drowner brain, 5x Celandine flowers, and 1x Dwarven Spirit. For Thunderbolt, you need 1x Endrega embryo, 1x Cortinarius flower, and 1x Dwarven Spirit. There's no endrega in White Orchard AFAIK, but you should have been just handed the ingredients for this one early in the game.

In the latter case, anytime you meditate and have at least one unit of hard alcohol (alcohest, dwarven spirit) that one unit will suffice to fully restock *all* potions and bombs for which you have formula (in other words, *not* Wolven Hour, which you cannot get the formula for).

Maybe he's further, he has played so much more than WO that he's lvl 18. But, just to make sure, he has 100% of WO. He hasn't missed the recipes if they are somewhere in the first region.

I have already used them, but I can control them. I cant create them when I really need them, but I can't see them in the Alchemy list. The most weirdest thing is that I have them in the Game+, but when I made the New game from the beginning - there are no recipies basics even through the 18 lvl. I ever explores the map and accomplish the side quests and "?"-marks in the Novingrad and Velen, but stil i don't have any recipies basics, I dont even speak about the improved ones. Things shouldn'g go happen like this.

There's a reason CDPR sprinkled question marks all over the map. Go exploring and you'll be rewarded.

This seems right. It seems like you already brewed it. Once you do, it disappears from your alchemy list (I think) but you'll find it in your inventory.

yeah you need alchotest and rest, a witcher with no booze is a sad witcher.

For the basic versions, there is a side quest with the herbalist in White Orchard where you need to craft swallow to heal a girl, pretty sure it just gives you the recipe and the ingredients can all be collected around the WO map. For the thunderbolt, Vesemir gives the potion to you before fighting the griffin. This is how I have always gotten these potions, idk of any other ways tbh.
