Critical slow mo mod + killable guards = Awesome !
I used both mods, it makes the game FAR more immersive now. Some guards insulted me, I turned back and snapped my fingers a few times to tell him to shut up, then he charged him, I masterfully dodged, thus activating the slow motion from the mod, then executed a flawless kill move.

I turned around, put my hood back on and went on about my business.
10/10 This is what Witcher 3 was always supposed to feel like !
He is called the butcher of -something- for a reason.

What's your opinion.

Guards have always been killable, they were just overpowered for no reason. Now they're slightly weaker by default.

That critical slow mo mod is on my list of must haves. Theres a lightsaber mod to and together they are awesome. Also combo blood together with the slow mo makes it a complete blood bath, in slow mo.

Please tell me the lightsaber mod is compatible with 4.0.

The author's sword mods are. I honestly haven't tried the lightsaber one yet. It replaces the axe sounds to so it even sounds like a lightsaber.

Butcher of Blaviken, fwiw. Refer to a violent event involving Renfri and Stregobar in that town.

It does make the guards a bit more plausible -- they're now quite killable rather than being artificially always considerably above your level, and they also tend to attack if they see you looting containers that don't belong to you. I think they used to auto-level enough to get whatever extra bonuses came with being overleveled enemies (said bonuses are also gone, so it's much more doable to fight enemies that are 15 levels above you or w/e, at least once your build gets going).
