Does witcher has a level cap?

I'm wondering, if I'll finish the game on lvl 100 and star a new game, will all the items and quests be lvl 100?

Quests will be as high as suggested for level 140 even if you can't go higher as 100. So prepare to bring a good build if you play on Death March and a lot of patience for the Ciri scenes because some enemies can take 30-40 hits while playing her.

Most enemies are level 105 from my experience having played through 3/4 of the main story in New Game + starting already with a level 100 char.

If you play a good Euphoria Build and have the right potion on your blades nearly everything should be a one shot kill, most bosses can be 1 hit with a fully charged heavy attack. Only problem is that Ciri is weak as s*.
