Stuttering issue

Hello everyone,

Decided to redownload TW3 due to the new update, wanted to start a new pleythrough.

I'm having a very specific performance issue though, on a rig which really shouldn't.

Im experiencing the game stuttering/hitching regularly, especially when turning the camera.

Ive fiddled around with options, disabling and enabling certain things, but the end result is the same.

FPS is always above 60, yet even so, it stutters.

Specs :

RTX 3080TI
Core i9 12900K, non overclocked
64GB DDR5 RAM
Game installed on M.2 NVME SSD

Running @4K 144HZ.

Tried running with either DirectX11 and 12, no change.

No issues with any other games.

Anyone else having this issue, and if so, perhaps know if it can be fixed?

Latest video drivers are installed.

PLZ PATCH THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME BACK... since latest hotfix I got extremly time/fps frame stutters, especially when turning around. the graph has big WAVES NOW... Before the hotfix it was smooth and even in my time frame. zero stutters. the last update made my whole game stutter on 4090. Nice update. really wanna play the game, but it stutters. any way to backpatch...?

Try capping your fps. In other words, turn on Vsync in the game and set the fps to a setting you need to enjoy the game play.

But be reasonable with those.

There is an obscure micro-stutter fix that worked for W3 BEFORE next-gen, search for it, was a miracle for me, solution within windows settings, not game.

That actually made it playable, didn't eliminate it completely, but defintely 100% better, thanks very much good sir.

I discovered that there's a built in camera-bob/shake associated with running that I originally thought was an FPS issue. Just posted about the fix to it here:
