Tamara's doll

When exactly does the Baron give it to me? I'm adventuring in the wilderness until one of you Legends remind me. I don't wanna miss the dialogue when I get to Tamara.

How far are you in the Family matters? Wasn't the doll inside her room? Anyway you need to talk to talk to the Baron before you start searching for Tamara.

Talked to Baron, explored the rooms, found the doll, examined it, defeated Baron in Gwent. Now I'm to find the Pellar. I thought the Baron will catch up to me when leaving Crow's Nest, but that didn't happen.

Think you have to talk to Tamara, tell the baron and then he gives the doll to try and persuade her, though unsure.

hmmm I find that doubtful, I think it's more likely that it happens before you find her. If you talk to her there, you won't see her again until Crookback bog.

after you find out where tamara is hiding out, go back and tell the baron. he will then give you the doll and tell you to give it to her.

I'm not 100% on this, but you might need to talk to the Oxenfurt guard first to trigger the Baron giving you a free city pass. There's other ways of course, but wth. Otherwise this is spot on. I'm doing this section right now.
