Why is the title screen switching? Can I keep just one of them?
After the next gen patch the title screen keeps switching for me. There is a title screen with Geralt next to the campfire, the beautiful song is playing and there is another one, more dark where Geralt is sitting in front of some rusty screeching grid.

I really hate the second title screen and would like to keep the other one. It seems to be totally random which title screen is showing up. Is there a setting what prevents it from switching all the time?

It switches based on your location and advancement in the campaign from the last time you played.

I guess you could load a save with the title screen you like before quitting, that's a tad high maintenance for me but why not.

Nah, it doesn't. It changes every startup for me as well on a new playthrough. I personally don't mind it though.

Sadly it's not like that. I did a few tests with a completed game. I was in Toussaint, starting and exiting the game, title screen is switching, I went to Novigrad, still switching. Progress of the campaign was the same of course.

I really would like to have the one with the vocal song as an "intro"...

Then your best bet would be a mod.
