Try reinstalling the game. I reinstalled it on my SSD and it loads into velen. It's laggy as ♥♥♥♥ though
I gave this a try a few days ago! Unfortunately I had no luck despite teleporting from different locations (I initially thought that particular post sign was bugged). I completely uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it on my SSD. Afterwards, Velen loaded up without crashing. Initially, it was getting like 1-2 FPS and extremely buggy. I restarted the game and it loaded in perfectly with no issues and is running maxed settings now.
I loaded an older save before talking to the king, nope, still crashing. I heard that maybe the save is toast, if that is the case then bye bye Witcher, I can't be bothered to start again. I even tried console commands to go there, still crashing.
Unfortunately I have a small SSD and I can't try that without uninstalling other games.
I agree. I already uninstalled actually. Remember the days when you could just buy a game, turn it on, and play it?
