I can't find Letho even though I spared him in my Witcher 2 save
I'm doing the Reardan manor quest but Letho isn't there

Could be you maybe imported the wrong save.

I have only 1 save left from Witcher 2 and it is the Autosave after the game ends. I never had an issue importing the save through 300 hours of playtime. Some people say that the game somehow corrupts their save or importing saved game is buggy, I don't know.

From launch till now, every time I imported that one save - it worked 100%.

Are you playing on NG+ perhaps ?
No it's not NG+ and it's the same save i used for my first playthrough which had Letho in it

But if you simulate the save you don't get to keep your sweet tattoo from TW2. Very important, that.

If you use the Debug Console, you can get the tattoo back.

It amuses me to this day that I totally misunderstood what TW3 meant by 'simulate' in this regard so I ended up simulating and saving so much headache. (I really thought it was about when or how frequently you're allowed to save and I thought TW2 must be more restrictive so said yes.)

Yeah when the game first came out, it was very confusing to everyone just what they meant by "simulate". Many took it to mean that it would create a "default world state" so they said no, and of course by CDPR's own unique sense of logic, by saying no, that's exactly what would happen.

So, the moral here is to say YES if you want the opportunity to answer five stupid questions that will truly add very little to you gameplay regarding all of the choices you made while playing TW2. Pesky little things like whether you chose Iorveth's Path or Roche's or decided to steer clear of both.

Anyway, if you want 100% want to be sure to have Letho in your game, choose SIMULATE and YES!

Sorry but one of those questions relate to Letho and depending on answer some of most memorable quests in TW3 IMO.

I don't care about impact on main story I care about impact on me. To me reunion was one of highlights of TW3 and I consider that's something CDRP nailed perfectly despite mistakes elsewhere.
