Giant's castle (Beyond Hill and Dale) Secret Places... (and a..whale?)

So, I've discovered some very interesting secret places in the Giant's Castle in "Beyond Hill and Dale"

I've been able to get behind the massive wooden door, and discovered what appears to be an extensive parkour course. But I haven't been able to find anyone else discussing it(?) You can climb up on top of the castle, on any of the roof areas.

Also, I've discovered some sort of easter egg with a whale falling through the clouds - perhaps a "hitchhikers guide the galaxy" reference?

Again, I can't find anyone else discussing these... am I the only one so far to see them?

I managed to look around too, hoping to find a goose with golden eggs or some other hidden joke around. When I saw the whale, my first thought was the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy as well.
There are also the "Flying whales" in the Cavern of Dreams that made me think of Gojira's Flying whales (although it probably isn't a reference to that).

Hey, sorry for the 5 year bump, I've tried to find any info elsewhere but no luck. I'm wondering how you got past the door/on top of the walls? Been exploring around for a while now and all I manage to do is get on top of the wooden roofs of the inner main part.

I've made it a bit further into the castle than you have in your last screenshot viewing syanna. Trying to go further, and i cant figure out how to upload screenshots lol

I got to a point where it looks like a dead end, but it looks as though there are other accessible areas past it? am confused haha... maybe you gotta ride a whale
