The Witcher 3 + Expansion Pass VS GOTY edition

Hello. Just curious will there be any differences between game + expansion pass and the game of the year edition or it's the same thing but all in one purchase?

No, if you own the game and the expansion pass you essentially own the GOTY edition.

The GOTY edition will contain the base game, all free DLC, plus all Expansion Pass DLC. I wouldn't be surprised if they launched the GOTY edition and it would appear already in your library, if you own everything, or be considered a "free" upgrade to current owners.

Besides, if for some reason CD Projekt decided to add something else in to the GOTY edition, they'll give it free to everyone who already owns Witcher 3 and Expansions.

GOTY comes end of August.

It has basegame with all DLC/Expansions and the up-to-date patch

Its the GOTY, of course it will! It will include ALL DLC, so that means Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine as well

Yeah, no doubt. Instead you would just buy the expansion pass, since that would be the cheaper option.

I'm sorry but what's missing from the Payday 2 GotY edition or the Borderlands 2 GotY ediition?

Because I just checked both and all of the paid DLCs are included in each of them.
