Who is talking in the intro cutscene thing before the main menu?

Is it a nameless person? Or just some peasant? Are they part of the story and can I find them? I am curious. My guess is he is a priest of the Eternal Fire but I might be wrong. Does anyone know?

He is a priest of the Eternal Fire indeed. That intro is meant to summerize some things of the Witcher universe, like what is a witcher, what is a sorceress, the past events that set everything in motion (Conjunction of Spheres) and the state of the Northern Realms, which are in a big mess at that point. Probably for new players

I was under the impression that the narrator was Dandelion when he was older, as it refers to "This Bard" and has other direct references to Dandelion himself in other narrations. Could be wrong though.

And the one who speakes during the loading screens is older Dandelion.

If you finished the game I think you know why it couldn't be Dandelion
