Platform outside Menge's office (Count Reuven's Treasure)?

Just outside Menge's office there's a high platform with several crates on it. No ladder, can't seem to climb the shelves, don't see any openings from the roof. Stuff glows like they are lootable crates, but I can't find any way up there at all.

Anyone know?

I've probably lost a good 20 minutes trying to scale all of the things around it, and thus far I've not found a way up. Found two ancient archived reddits about it, neither one has a solution. I mean...I can enable the console and phase up there, but I want to actually get up there legit.

Did that a long time ago so memory's a little foggy, but during some quests you have ladders that give you access to certain areas, the one im 100% sure of is the Katakan hideout, the quest where you get drunk and chase the Katakan. The ladder that gives you access to the hideout disappears after the quest-in case you forgot to loot the chest that's up top. Anyways I'll try and get up there

Going back in seems impossible lol, but if there were any unlootables I'd remember. Like the one in the barn while doing the fall of count readron or something. And Keira Metz's upper shelf

Thus far all I could find on the Internet were two very old posts asking the same question I had. I can't imagine there being any access to the building after the fire that burns it, but I'm going to go back and check.

I was there tying to loot it during the quest that puts you in the building, but there was no ladder or anything. I can only assume it takes an insane level of luck to get up there :)

I recently was playying this part, but I didn't remember this problem, since I use the mod autoloot.
When there is too much stuff to pickup or some is not easy reachable I press a button to pick everything up in my range. But when you want to use it aswell keepo in mind this will pickup much in the underground - so in novigrad with all the tunnels it may pickup stuff there too.

Yeah...I can get it via phasing with the console enabled, or I could use a loot mod. I'm just trying to figure out how t.f. to get up there in the vanilla game.

Additionally, if you go back to the building after the quest in there is completed, the entire platform (and most of the building) is just plain gone.

I know this is an old thread but still haha. You can get on the roof of the building and probably close to the wall where the loot is on the other side, perhaps you can use AARD and knock some loot down or if there is an opening (which im pretty certain there is not) but worth a try. Sadly Triss burnt the house down pretty fast after i went outside so didnt have a lot of time to experiment but this is the only legit way i can think of.
