How do you start Blood and Wine?

JUst installed the nbew expansion I believe im the right level but the quest wont start am i missing some thing?

Blood and Wine has not been released yet.

You should have a new quest that says to check the notice boards in Velen. Find the right notice and the main quest starts.

It seemed like you could find the notice on just about any notice board on that map.

Is there a certan point in the main story i have to be past? cuz i havent gotten any quest

You need level 34, it also gives the option to start right on the Blood and Wine DLC, they give you a lvl 34 with skill points, armors and weapons and yes it's live already

Hmm, I don't know. I had already beaten the game and finished off all of the remaining contracts and side quests so it was the only quest available to me when I loaded my save.

But previously I got the quest notification to start Hearts of Stone as soon as I arrived in Velen for the first time at a very low level, so I would venture to guess that the pre-requisites are the same. The recommended minimum level for B&W is 34 but I wouldn't expect that would influence whether or not the quest line became available.

What level are you?

B&W start quest not working in NG+ for me, but work in a normal game

Ive got a game going in +ng if i have to i will start a Blood and Wine onley game but i would like to play with the game ive already got going

try to load an old save, not NG+
start quest for B&W should appear regardless of lvl

According to this site the trigger to get the quest to start Blood and Wine is completing the "Poet Under Pressure" quest where you rescue Dandelion:

So you don't need to be level 34 or the NG+ equivalent.
