I was wondering if I could use an Xbox 360 controller to play Witcher 3? If yes how do I do that? I never done controller set up on a computer before. If you could help me I would love that <3! Thank you and looking forward to playing the game tonight or tomorrow :D!

yes its supported and works very well with this game. all you really need to do is plug the controller in and it will download / install the drivers automatically. atleast thats how it was for me on windows 10. plug n play. when you launch the game just press any button on the controller and the key icons will change automatically from keyboard / mouse setup to gamepad.

Someone told me I needed an adapter no?
If it doesn't plug n play, you can search and download the Xbox 360 Accessories Software in order for your PC to recognize your controller.

Edit: :)

I see no reason why an adapter should be necessary. Your controller uses USB doesn't it? Should be good just like that.

if you have a corded xbox 360 controller you just plug it in to the USB slot. if its wireless you need a wireless adapter for it that goes to your PC.

If it is corded you don't need an adapter, just plug it in. If it is wireless, then you need the wireless adpater.

you need a wireless adapter if your using a wireless controller yes, can buy them on amazon for few bucks, but any wired xbox controller with usb will work just fine
