Alternate Look for Ciri DLC Bug
I can't disable the Alternate Look for Ciri DLC without the game telling me I can't load my save without it being enabled. I've enabled and disabled the other Alternate Look DLCs and that worked just fine. I've tried disabling the Ciri outift both when she is present in the game and when not there at all; both times the game tells me I HAVE TO HAVE THAT OUTFIT ENABLED. Pretty frustrating.

You are disabling it in game menu before loading save, rather than disabling DLC in Steam?

I was disabling it before launching the game; through Steam.

So is it ok now?

No... I said that whenever I disable it and then load a save, the game tells me it needs to have the DLC enabled even if Ciri isn't currently present in said save.

OK, I'm getting confused now - you should be changing the option in game menu, not disabling DLC in Steam this is what you are doing, yes?

I am disabling it in Steam. Before launching the game. Is that clear? Disabling DLC via Steam has never brought me issues such as these until now.

You have the alternative option on in the 'in game' menu tho' and your game is saved with it, if you disable the DLC in Steam you are bound to get this issue.

You need to put Ciri's costume back to vanilla in the game - i.e. with DLC enabled, launch game, go to downloadable content in menu, change Ciri costume, load save, save game.

Then after that you can happily disable the DLC in Steam if you wish and your save will load ok.

Was confusing me as I'm not sure why you are disabling the DLC in Steam.

Hopefully someone else can clarify what I've been trying to say as I'm giving up on this one now! Good luck.

Oh I see what you mean now. But that's weird, considering I don't recall needing to go through that process with the other outfit DLC options.
