What is the land east of Novigrad on the Map ?

When you look athe map ingame there's a land mass east of Novigrad, that you can't get on in the game. I saw some ships sailing in the direction of that land mass and I wondered what country is that in the witcher lore ? Because I'm pretty sure when you look at a Map of the whole witcher world there is actually nothing east of Novigrad

Don't know what ships exactly you're talking about but i think they probably went to Kovir & Poviss thought it's still not east.

Are you talking about a huge island? That's Skellige. Just proggres the story and the game will get you there.

No I actually meant the land West of Novigrad on the ingame map, you can't go there and there's nothing on it, but Ships are moving in that direction. It's not skellige

I don't think you can see this land on any Map of the Witcher world, except for the ingame map in witcher 3

I don't know for sure and can only speculate it's an another side of the same continent: east from Blue Mountains :)
