I pirated this game...
and played it for a bit more than 100 hours. then i stopped playing it in december 2015 because I got bored. Now I picked it (pirated version) up again and I'm continuing to play, because I'm still not finished.
Today I bought the Original + Season Pass because this is truly the very best game ever made and CD Projekt Red is the best game developer ever

I'm not sure that talking about piracy even in such way is allowed on the forums.

CDprojektred has said it will forgive people who pirate it's game... I dunno about Steam though hehe.

Far cry from the days when they sued a bunch of pirates and pretty much ruined their rep. Then they turned around, kissed DRM goodbye and embraced a huge PR spin wave to win back players. Gotta love CDPR.
Admitting a mistake and doing something about it.. Yes that's... different.

Screwing over people who wanted to enjoy the fruits of THEIR hard work was a mistake? The "Yarrers" screwed CDPR over. They made a mistake not CDPR...Thieves. Deny all you want. Bring out whatever arguments you want (and i might even agree with some) but there's no way around it: "Yarrers" are thieves. It's a simple fact either you like it or not.

Besides, don't belive everything you see on the interwebs. I would like, to see actual proof that CDPR actually ever sued anyone.
'Cus ya know...How did they track 'em down? It's not like i go "Hello! I'm Bob Handjob. I live in England, Poorville, NoJob Street 24-7. I'm 25y old and my phone number is 69666 and i just illegaly downloaded this product."

Ruined their rep for whom, kid?

So you played such masterpiece of a game for 100 solid hours and only then decided to buy it on sale for half of the price?

Yea, mate, you're one kind of a mоrоn
Gringovich May 20, 2016 @ 2:30pm
I did the exact same thing but just bought it today on GOG. You can't even find all the patches needed for Hearts of Stone if you pirate it (no version 1.10), so there's no guarantee Blood and Wine would be completely ready on launch. It's way less hassle to buy in this situation. Also, it's a f****** amazing game and CD Projekt Red is a f****** amazing dev so that too...

Who cares? You're a pirate. You deserve to start over.

The game was released completely DRM free on GOG. There's no possible excuse for you. Not even the "I don't buy DRM games".

Of course there is, but that's none of your business

Allah won't be pleased with you when he finds out.

Congrats on your decision, mate. A lot of people seem to give you hard time here, but I understand how much of a joy it is to realize that the game is so good you just have to buy it. I used to pirate games several years ago, too, until Steam's better quality of service persuaded me to switch to legal ways. Maybe you'll eventually do the same with more games that you play.
