How to save the game

Hello all,

I have played for about 1 hour and tried to save the progress but it didn't let me, is there any specific point to save or does the game has an auto save?

Please help.

the game has an auto save feature and there's a quick save feature just press f5.

I still can't save. Am getting an error: "Saves created with this version of the game will be incompatible with previous versions of the game" and when I try to save on the slot, it just gets me out to the menu without saving.. :(
I am running windows 10.
I have checked security options and have full control on every user. I also launched the game using desktop icon and also from steam and still nothing.

Appreciate any help! :)

Hm, have you checked the game integrity? (left click on the game, propieties, local, verify game cache integrity)

Also F5 is the quicksave button.

That is just a warning because your sdave game was loaded from an earlier patch. To check you save games Press "escape" and use "Load Game."

check if you have enough hdd space on c:/ basically 'cause games save folder automatically goes to My Documents under hdd C:/

if you have enough space try changing the save folder it will be changed to Read Only if you're on win10.
Make sure it's not set to read only.

That was actually the issue, thanks a lot, I deleted some files and got some extra space and it worked. I can save the game now.
