Gameplay
The new region of Toussaint has never before been seen in The Witcher series and contains:

Over 90 new quests.
Over 40 new points of interest.
Over 30 hours of new adventures.
Dynamic Point of Interest system – interacting with the main POI of a given area will affect adjacent points of interest (e.g. killing bandits in their main hideout located in a ruined castle will affect the number of enemies in surrounding camps).
14000 lines of dialogue (Hearts of Stone had 6000 lines).
100 individual pieces of armour (this includes new witcher sets).
More than 30 new weapons.
More than 20 new monsters.
New Game + maximum level increased to 100.
All new armour dye mechanic – every piece of witcher gear can have its color changed by using a dye. Dyes can be obtained in various ways: they can be bought from the new dye merchant; crafted from a recipe; dropped as loot. Dyes can only be obtained in Toussaint.

Supposedly (just a rumor, take it with a grain of salt), the current witcher sets will get new upgrade levels. Hopefully its true, because the Wolven set is my favorite armor set appearance-wise.

Ok.

I'm running a deathmarch build where I need the viper gear (all of it) so I hope they're doing so you can upgrade it (also the silver sword, since you only can get the gear through quests)

Not really a rumor, the achivements leaked a few days ago and one of them is to collect all "grand master witcher schematics" or something like that...now wether that includes the viper gear is another question, since the viper gear only has one tier of armor. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

When you started a NG+ you could redo the quests and the the "Legendary viper gear" where it's level 67 instead of 37 (I think it was 37)

Such a shame, I quite like the look of the Viper armour set.

I've played PS4 version on deathmarch and including dlc(Hearts of Stone), without viper armor and handled everything quiet easily, with only 3 deaths in Hearts of Stone.

The new grandmaster diagrams have nothing to do with Hearts of Stone.

The wolven armor does get a grandmaster upgrade, the viper set though doesn't appear to.
