21:9 cutscene fix

Seems like since launch they've patched in a fair amount of support for 21:9 aspect ratios, HUD scales correctly and all that, but still have black bars in cutscenes. Anyone know a fix that works with the Steam version?

It doesn't work any longer. One of the patches seems have broken it.

The modded .exe breaks with every patch, you have to replace it with an updated version whenever one is made. Also seems to be the case that the .exe hacks are different for Steam, GoG, Origin versions, and GOTY edition is also completely different.
