why does Expansion Pass DLC never go on sale?

Sure, you can buy the steam bundle, or you can buy the GOTY edition in a couple of hours, but I already have the game, and I resent the price gouging on the expansion pass when it can be had cheaper by people new to the game!

Technically the expansion pass is the same price for everyone so there's no gouging there.

Every game in history has gone down in price over time. That's pretty much true of almost any consumer product except Disney movies (joke).

You either pay full price to play early or you wait till prices come down. My budget for games is actually pretty low, but I still manage to own 100s of them (not just what's listed in steam) simply because I don't really mind waiting a few years for prices to drop. (been playing games since 1977 I know better than to buy any of them at full price and I have too many I still haven't played yet to ever need to rush out for something new ~ it can wait)

you get a minimum of 30 hours gameplay. Compare to any game came out this year. They worth twice as much, they are basically dlcs always (or worse like mankind divided). So 25-30$ is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steal. Myself i bought expansion pass right after finishing the game, Because base game was not enough.

You don't get anything additional for buying the pass. You can buy everything that is in the pass for a total price that is on sale at less than the pass total

Any sense of need is your own insanity at not understanding that you have full access to the entire season pass's worth of content right now at a sale price

for got record when i made this post it was cuz dlc hardly got discounts let alone all the DLC at the same time getting a discount lol. maybe ill delete this thread since i already own all the dlc now, paid like $17
