Camera turning stutter?
Still? I thought this was patched out ages ago?
Reinstalled the game after a long break for a second playthrough and i have the rotating camera stutter again?
Tried some of the known fixes like turning on hardware cursor and max prerendered frames to 1 but it keeps on going. No fps drops at al, max setting @4K 80fps.
Only when i turn the camera slowly when looking for stuff.

"max setting @4K 80fps"

well first off you are full of ♥♥♥♥ with that claim as even a 1080 ti cant do that. and hell when this thread was started the fastest card was a plain 1080.
Change mouse sensitivity from 1 to 0.75

I was able to get 4K @ 25-40FPS on my aging R9 290. 50-60FPS is possible with a 980Ti, so definitely a GTX 1080 can too. You just need to turn off Gameworks, anti-aliasing and turn down Shadows and Foilage Distance a notch or two.

learn to read as he said MAX settings. and even with those settings you mentioned a 1080 cant get anywhere near 80 fps. also AA in this game has little impact on performance as its just a post process AA.

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_1080_Ti_SC2/26.html

a 1080 is getting 44 fps here at 4k and that is without hairworks. even with foliage distance and shadows down to medium, AA off it would still be in low 60s at best. 80 fps is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantasy on those setting nevermind the max settings he claimed.

EDIT: just tested with oced 1080 ti

max but no hairworks low 60s
disable AA mid 60s
foliage distance on medium upper 70s
shadows on medium lower 80s

so AGAIN the OP is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ liar claiming 80 fps on max settings as the fastest card at the time would have been a 1080 and that could not even get 80 fps even with several settings reduced.

Try turning on vsync from ingame or control panel to get rid of stutters.

Somehow the game has heavy stutters/fps drops when vsync is off. Vsync on = butter smooth. It's weird. 1.31 gog ver

Jolka is my hero. I knew GOG Galaxy was bad, but I didn't realize it was that bad.

If you have micro stutterings, navigate to C:\...\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base Open gc.ini and search for ObjectMemoryTrigger. Set it to 512.

If thi doesnt exist then create one, should look like this ObjectMemoryTrigger = 512

OK This works 100% for me !! Thank you very much dude. I didnt thought this will work but it does absolutly.

As a tip:You have to write it under the first code line. First I wrote it at the end of the doc. and it didnt work!

I don't comment often but felt I also had to jump on board the "this fixed my issue" train. I have a GTX 1080 and i7 and even on the lowest possible settings moving the camera around was stuttering every single time. I tried all kinds of solutions only to fix "microstuttering" but those solutions were not for the camera movement.

This was the only comment that helped. Anyone else who has this issue needs to stop what they are doing and turn off the GOG overlay. It really is that simple (or absurd? Thanks GOG...).

This fixed it for me, made it smooth enough so you don't notice it anymore

Turning hairworks off fixed it for me. I don't think it directly fixed it, but it allowed a constant 60fps.

This game seems to exhibit extreme stuttering when out of sync with your refresh rate. Normally when frames drops below 60 there is a slight blur, but in the Witcher it looks looks like you're losing chunks of frames, most evident when panning the camera.

Once I configured it for a stable 60fps the stuttering is completely gone, but I think it's very likely the problem is still there. Usually I can tolerate fluctuations between 50-60fps, but not in this game.
